If all had gone according to plan, Hugh Hefner would have walked down the aisle with his 25-year-old gal Crystal Harris Saturday at the Playboy Mansion. But, as we all know, his "runaway bride" called things off just 5 days before their big day. So, how is Hef coping? With the help of a new blonde!
Apparently he has cozied up to blonde Miss January 2011 Anna Sophia Berglund. Berglund, who's also 25 (she's 24 days older than Crystal, to be exact), has reportedly moved into Hef's room. TMZ reports they're already calling each other "babe" around the mansion!
Sources say they couldn't keep their hands off of each other during a recent movie night. "It's clear Hef has moved on to Anna," the insider said.
One of the reasons Crystal claimed she called off the wedding was because of the constant bevy of blondes surrounding her man, but Anna was never named as part of the problem. In fact, the gals have posed in pictures together, and even tweet to each other...
Even if Anna was part of the problem between Hef and his almost-wife, Crystal seems to be getting along just fine now. She escaped to Vegas this weekend and partied with none other than Heidi Montag! "I came to Vegas to hang out with my friends for the day," Harris said (via Us magazine). "I wanted to get away from L.A. so I didn't have to think about the wedding."
Hef tweeted on his would-be wedding day: This was going to be my wedding day, but life is full of surprises. After all is said and done, staying single is probably for the best," he tweeted Saturday. "With no wedding, we'll be running a movie tonight: Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in Runaway Bride. It seems appropriate."
